When it comes to academic achievement, a strong foundation is vital. The early years of education are not only where students learn basic material that they will build on in later years, but also where they learn how to learn—how to be exceptional students who are dedicated to excellence in all areas of life.
At Signature Prep, we take this responsibility seriously. As a K-8 public charter school, we recognize the opportunity we have to help our students develop a deep love of learning and appreciation for academics, while also helping them strengthen personal character and develop strong moral values.
A Well-Rounded Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to help students succeed academically and personally. Using materials based on the latest educational research (HMH Into Math and Into Reading), we help students learn and understand grade-appropriate concepts and materials.

Growth Mindset
At Signature Prep, personal growth and development is just as important as academic learning. We teach our students to have a growth mindset about learning, that is, to recognize that their success is based on their effort, not on innate, unchangeable ability.
Weaving the principles of a growth mindset throughout our curriculum, we help our students think about effort and success in a way that will benefit them not only in school, but for the rest of their lives.
P.R.A.I.S.E Values
Part of raising the next generation of leaders is teaching them values that will benefit themselves, their families, and their communities. The P.R.A.I.S.E Leadership Program teaches students these key virtues.
Moral and Wholesome Environment
Our campus looks and feels different—because it is different! We have deliberately created a moral and wholesome environment that places the focus on learning, rather than on the distractions many students face at other schools.
Our P.R.A.I.S.E. values contribute to this environment, inspiring and rewarding good behavior and universal respect.
Our uniform policy also reinforces our environment, allowing students to focus less on what they’re wearing and more on what they’re learning.
