At Signature Preparatory, we recognize the importance of a well-rounded education for today’s students. Each of our K-8 students attends music, art, technology, and physical education classes every week as part of their regular curriculum. We also offer additional options, like before and after school programs, and a variety of competitive and friendly sports programs to keep students mentally and physically engaged.
Our goal with our extracurricular programs is to help give each Signature Prep student the opportunity to extend their learning, broaden their horizons, and explore new interests.
Signature Prep offers before and after school programs through Champions, an accredited provider that combines social development and academic learning into a fun and engaging curriculum. In addition to the structured programs, students are given the opportunity to independently explore their own areas of interest, including creative arts, library, math, puzzles and games, and science. Program leaders are also available to provide homework help. Students participate in daily physical activity and are provided with healthy snacks.
Before School Programs: 6:30-7:30 am
After School Programs: 2:45-6:30 pm
Our sports programs not only help our students stay physically and mentally fit, but also teach them the important skills of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. We participate in the Nevada Choice School Athletic Association (NCSAA) to give students the opportunity to play flag football, basketball, track, cheer and dance, volleyball, golf, e-sports, and more. Our teams are divided based on grade (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8), and students can choose to play on a competitive or participatory team.
As part of our vision to learn, lead, and change the world, we want to give our students the opportunity to grow creatively. There is no better way to do this than by incorporating fine arts into our campus.
Each year at Signature Prep, students go on a journey into the fine arts, discovering everything from the basics of drawing and painting, to the intricacies of fibers and sculpture, to the beauty of music. By learning about and responding to the arts, students are encouraged and inspired to create and present their own creative works. As students dive into this creative world, they themselves become the masterpieces!
